Founded in 2006, A.D. Friedman & Co. is a New York firm that helps businesses get what they need from their technology. We define what the business needs, build it, and assess what is already in place, from cloud platforms and applications to AI systems in production.
We work with startups, established enterprises, and the buyers and investors evaluating them.
A.D. Friedman & Co. was founded by entrepreneur Ari Friedman on a principle he learned founding, growing and running his own companies: technology exists to serve the business; it is not an end in itself.
Over 20 years he has grown the firm into a team of developers, data scientists, systems architects, and UX (user experience) and information architects that builds, reviews and assesses systems for clients ranging from startups to large enterprises.
Ari founded HomeDelivery.com, one of the first online local merchant networks, which became Delivery.com. He went on to co-found DigiNext, a digital film distribution joint venture with AMC Theatres that reached audiences in more than 72 countries. Having raised capital, built teams and run companies himself, he approaches every engagement as an operator: the business comes first, and the technology serves it.
